BenQ company released its first MID device which runs on Linux Midnux. It is BenQ S6 and has been already available. It is based on Intel Atom UL11L 800 MHz CPU and has 4.8 inch screen with 800×480 px resolution. The set of technical features also include 512 Mb operating memory, 2 Gb SSD storage device, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 modules. Third generation networks with HSDPA 7.2 Mb/s support is worth something. The size of this device is 159×89x22 mm and approximate is $600.
Nokia Tube: new details
Nokia Tube smartphone which is also known as Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is coming. And a lot of users have been waiting for it for log time. According to Pocket Lint the release will take place next month at the same time with Comes with Music. Nokia Tube is the first S60 based smartphone with touch screen. S60 platform was announced last autumn but devices which run on it haven’t been introduced yet. It is rumored that Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will have 3.2 Mp camera, GPS and Wi-Fi modules and HSDPA support.
Philips Xenium X500: long life
Philips mobile phones are famous for long life battery. Philips Xenium X500 is not exclusion. It supports GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz networks. Velocity Mobile company announced new Velocity 83 which runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. It is rather usual GPS communicator which main distinguishing feature are two microSD card slots. The first slot is assigned for filing and the second one is for navigating maps. Unfortunately it doesn’t support 3G networks. Velocity 83 will be available in the November and will cost about $500.

New XPERIA X1 clone by Chinese developers
Coming Sony Ericsson XPERIA is still not released but Chinese developers have already introduced some clones. One of them is iFone X1. This phone combines appearance of XPERIA X1 and user interface of Apple iPhone. The set of technical features is ordinary for Chinese mobile phones. The only thing which is notable is Dual SIM mode support. According to the producer of this mobile phone recommended price is $117.

Some new information about future ASUStek communicator appeared in that global network. It seems to be that ASUS Glaxy7 will be deserved competitor of Samsung Omnia mobile phone. It will have 3.5 inch screen with WVGA resolution (800×480 px), 5 Mp camera, Glide 1.5 interface support, trackball, steel case, Intel PXA310 624 MHz CPU and 4 GB memory.
