Hawaii Earthquake

At 7.38 p.m an Earthquake with a 5.3 magnitude has hit the big island, Hawaii, many have been waiting for Hurricane Flossie to hit, but that should just pass south of the island tomorrow. Residents in Hilo and also Volcano have said that they felt a strong shake, although there are no reports of any damage as yet.

The epicenter of the earthquake was 25 miles south of Hilo, Hawaii is mainly rural with about 150,000 people, many of which live on the west or northeast side of the big island.

Hawaii must have some very bad luck, as they have had to deal with facing Hurricane Flossie, and now with this 5.3 magnitude earthquake. We wish the residents all well, and hope that there have not been any casualties.

After Striking Out With Google, Perfect 10 Bats Against Microsoft

Perfect 10 has issued a press release announcing it is now going after Microsoft for copyright infringement over including Perfect 10’s images in Live Image Search.

Norm Zada, Perfect 10’s president said:

Microsoft is showing tens of thousands of extremely valuable celebrity images, along with Perfect 10 images, without authorization, which it obtains from hundreds if not thousands of pirate websites.

Perfect 10 sound familiar to you? It should. They sued Google in 2005 for the same thing. In fact, Perfect 10 won an injunction against Google in February 2006. However, the decision was reversed in May of this year.

We conclude that Perfect 10 is unlikely to be able to overcome Google’s fair use defense and, accordingly, we vacate the preliminary injunction regarding Google’s use of thumbnail images.

Sarah Thompson, who starred as Rose in the CW’s 7th Heaven, married screenwriter Brad Kane on Saturday in Santa Barbara, Calif., the couple tell PEOPLE.

“It was breathtakingly beautiful,” Thompson, 27, says of the wedding, which was arranged by event planner Kara Keaney and held at the Bacara Resort & Spa. “It was amazing to be surrounded by the people you love the most.”

Among the 110 guests were Lost executive producer Damon Lindelof, who was a groomsman, Mission: Impossible 3 screenwriter Alex Kurtzman and the former star of The Bachelor (and still a bachelor), Charlie O’Connell.

A reception followed at the resort’s Rotunda room, where guests dined on filet mignon and Alaskan wild salmon. A nine-piece band kept the party going until after midnight.

Flashdance - What a Feeling

First when there’s nothing
But a slow growing dream
That your fear seems to hide
Deep inside your mind.

All alone I have cried
Silent tears full of pride
In a world made of steel,
Made of stone.

Well, I hear the music,
Close my eyes, feel the rhythm,
Wrap around, take a hold
Of my heart.

What a feeling!
Feelin’s believin’.
I can have it all,
Now I’m dancing for my life.
Take your passion
And make it happen.
You can come alive,
You can dance right through your life.

Now I hear the music,
Close my eyes, I am rhythm.
In a flash it takes hold
Of my heart.

What a feeling.
Feeling’s believin’.
I can have it all,
Now I’m dancing for my life.
Take your passion
And make it happen.
I can come alive,
Now I’m dancing through my life.
What a feeling!

What a feeling (I am music now)
Feelin’s believin’. (I am rhythm now)
You can come alive, you can dance right through your life.
What a feeling. (You can really have it all)
What a feeling. (You can come alive when I call)
I can have it all (I can really have it all)
Have it all (You can come alive when I call)
(Call call call call, what a feeling!)
I can have it all (Here’s believing)
Here’s believin’ (Take your passion)
Take your passion (Make it happen)
Make it happen (What a feeling!)
What a feeling (Here’s believing)….
